HALL RENTAL AGREEMENT The hall has been rented by Address City State Zip Code Phone Email For the date of For the following event Estimated number of people                   <*Please note, that we require a minimum of 200 paid guests for weekend dates of May through October. *If the minimum of 200 paid guests is not met, the renter will be required to pay the church $4.25 per person for the difference of paid guests and the 200 paid guest minimum. The event is to begin at   and conclude at*   *All events must conclude by midnight. A non-refundable deposit of $400.00 is required from renter to secure hall for the requested date. It MUST be accompanied by the completed hall rental agreement signed by the renter. Security is required at all events. A $75.00 fee is required for security. This fee is payable by the renter and is due 30 days prior to the scheduled event. The church office will obtain the security guard. A refundable damage deposit of $100.00 is due thirty days prior to the event. This is refundable only if there is no damage present at the conclusion of the event. Food Catering - Only the contracted caterers are allowed to be used for events held in the church hall. They are Garden Fresh Catering 574.277.6930 and Honkers 251-0545. Liquor Catering - If any alcoholic beverages are to be served, you must contact Victor Michalos of Victory Bar. He may be reached at 574.289.5212 or 574.291.4765. PLEASE NOTE: Decorating/Entertainment Policy The hall may be decorated the day prior to the event. Arrangements need to be made by the renter either with the Church office or the food caterers. Decorations (when possible), need to be removed from the premises immediately following the event. Rented decorations may be picked up from the hall during Church hours following the event. The events that are held on church property need to reflect the religious institution of the church. There will be no gambling, firearms or unbecoming entertainment allowed on church premise. Alcoholic Beverage Policy Leasee further agrees that he/she will keep and save St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church from any loss, cost, damage, expense, attorney's fees and liability whatsoever incurred or resulting in any manner, directly or indirectly, from the serving of any and all alcoholic beverages used in connection with this rental of the Church's multi-purpose hall and/or fraternal hall. Renter agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church from any and all causes of action made or filed by anyone against the Church arising out of the performance of this agreement, directly or indirectly, including, but not limited to claims and causes of action alleging negligence from dram shop liability and other tortuous conduct on the part of St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church of South Bend, Indiana whether in whole or in part. PLEASE NOTE: The cost of the hall listed above is for those using the catering and/or bar tending, if you are not using either, in the case of high school dances, etc, then the non-refundable deposit is $500.00. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING!
